Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the construction of two detached dwellings. The evaluation consisted of three trenches, two measuring 10m by 1.8m and one 3m by 1.8m. The topsoil across the site measured between 0.1m and 0.35m over 0.45m to 1.3m+ overlying the natural drift geology. Medieval pottery and Roman tile was identified.
