Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the construction of a new onion store. Six trenches, each measuring 10m long and 1.8m wide. The trenches were excavated to a maximum depth of 0.6m, with 0.25m-0.30m of topsoil and 0.05m-0.30m of subsoil. The only finds were a sherd of Roman greyware and post medieval brick.
