Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the construction of two detached dwellings. Three trenches were excavated with one measuring 6m long and two measuring 7m long. The trenches were excavate to a maximum depth of 1m with 0.4m of topsoil overlying between 0.3m and 0.6m of subsoil. No features were identified although Roman pottery and tile was recovered from the upcast spoil.
