Description
A fieldwalking survey was carried out prior to the proposed construction of new football pitches and associated facilities on the site. The northern field was under grass and thus the metal detecting was very limited on this area of the site. The weather conditions were considered good during the metal detecting. The field was divided into approximate 50m squares and walked on north to south transects at 5m intervals and metal finds had their location recorded The metal detecting was carried out simultaneously to a field walking survey survey (See ESF24231) (S1).
