Description

An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the residential development of the site. 16 trial trenches measuring 40m long by 1.8m wide were excavated across an area of 2.38ha. This covered a 5% sample of the site. The trenches were excavated to a maximum depth of 0.69m deep. Neolithic, Bronze Age, Roman and Post medieval finds and features were identified.
