Description
A fieldwalking survey was conducted to identified concentrations of material indicating preserved archaeological sites. Only three of the fields walked provided enough visibility to recover finds. Initially the field walking was conducted of 10m wide transects but it was later decided that 30m intervals would provide a broader picture in the available time. A total of 19 of the overall 35 hectares were walked with only 3 of the 66 transects not providing any finds.
