Description

Evaluation (four trial trenches) was carried out in advance of the construction of two new detached dwellings. The trenches were excavated through c.0.17-0.22m of loose dry moist dark grey/brown sandy-silthy-loam topsoil, sealing subsoil c.0.47m-0.6m of thick firm dry medieum brown silty-loam with occasional stone and very occasional flint, which sealed natural sands and soils (S1).
