Description
Evaluation trenching prior to the construction of two dwellings. Three trenches, 20m x 1.8m were excavated. No archaeological features or finds were identified. The uppermost layer of the stratgraphic sequence for the site was a garden soil layer, below this the subsoil and natural geology had been heavily truncated by modern tree root intrusions.
