Description
An evaluation was carried out ahead of a proposed redevelopment of the current site (Pre-determination Planning number F/2009/0758/FUL). The natural chalk was white to greyish white in coulour and encountered at a minimum depth of 0.35m. Topsoil was mid brown silty sandy clay at a max depth of 0.45m, on average was 0.32m. The evaluation identified a possible ditch and pit both undated, but probably modern. No finds were recovered.
