Assessment of significance based on the guidelines and polies contained in English Heritage's Conservation Principles: Policies and Guidance 2008. The assessment is to enablecomparisons across the Trust's portfolio of historic churches, and ensure a sound understanding of the heritage values, significance and sensitivity of the building.. The production of this document is an essential step towards any project that involves managing change within or without the building (S1).
