Description
A fluxgate magnetometer survey was conducted across a c.1.6ha site at Land at Chruch Road, Stutton. Due to the presence of dense vegetation c.0.3had of the site could not be surveyed. The survey detected a wide range of anomalies including comparatievly subtle historic ploughing trends. The results reflected magnetic disturbance from modern activity, agricultural anomalies, and the sand and gravel superficial geology. No anomalies of possible archaeological origin were identified.
