Description
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken as part of a scheme of pre-determination archaeological works in order to establish the archaeological potential of the site. A desk-based assessment and geophysical survey were previously undertaken in 2019. The evaluation comprised 41 trenches measuring 30.00m x 1.80m and were positioned either to investigate the plotted positions of geophysical anomalies or to provide representative coverage.
