Description
Archaeological evaluation of land Moat House Farm, Wyverstone Road, Long Thurlow, Badwell Ash. The evaluation was undertaken in compliance with the initial requirement of a planning condition attached to planning approval for the construction of three dwellings with associated parking, amenity space and shared driveway following demolition of agricultural buildings. Three trenches of 15m x 1.8m width should be excavated to overlie the footprints of the proposed houses. The trenches were between 0.31-1.16m deep.
