Description
2020: An archaeological evaluation by means of trenching was undertaken in advance of a housing development. One trench measuring 30.00m x 1.80m with a perpendicular extension from the centre of the southern side measuring 6.00m x 1.80m was excavated. Topsoil was present to a depth of 0.25m directly over natural geology. No archaeological finds or features were recorded. The trench was excavated through what was essentially the only part of the site not covered by trees, and may represent the least disturbed area. (S1)
