Description

An archaeological evaluation by means of trenching at Land North of 1 Tye Green, Barking comprised 9 trenches measuring 20.00 x 1.80m. The trenches revealed a 0.20-0.30m depth of topsoil overlying a subsoil of 0.10m depth, and were excavated to a depth of 0.30-0.40m onto chalky clay natural geology. One undated ditch was present.
