Description
A Geophysical Survey was undertaken on land off the A14 near Creeting St Peter to establish the presence, or otherwise and nature of archaeological features on the site ahead of a proposed solar farm development. The site comprises two arable fields to the northeast of the A14, approximately 1.3km southeast of Creeting St Peter. The gradiometer survey covered 26.8ha did not identify any anomalies of potential archaeological features. A dense concentration of ferrous responses was detected across the majority of the site. These ferrous responses acted to obscure any archaeological features that may be present making interpretation very difficult.
