Description
Archaeological Evaluation was undertaken on land at Seers Medical Ltd, Cross Green, Debenham, Suffolk with a total of 6 trenches were excavated. The trenches measured between 5 to 14m and 1.8m wide. The trenches were excavated through modern made ground deposits in all trenches with the exception of Trench 4, then a deposit of colluvial subsoil (with the exception of Trench 3), which overlay the naturally occurring sand and gravel superficial drift geology, which no cut archaeological features were observed. No pre-modern finds were recovered from the upcast spoil or during metal detecting.
