Description

The evaluation was carried out in relation to a proposed housing-led development and was the second phase of archaeological fieldwork on the site, having been preceded by a geophysical survey. Fifty-six evaluation trenches were excavated, covering approximately 4,400sq m of the c.11ha site; some trenches were targeted on the results of the geophysical survey. The trenches were between 0.35m-0.7m deep.
