Description
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in July 2019 on a parcel of land at 1a-1c, Coltsfoot Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, in advance of a proposed development. Two trenches, totalling 30m in length, were excavated revealing a single feature interpreted as a large ditch or pond.
