Full Description

February 1988: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey, on field `653', located much Med (& PMed) pottery, brick & tile fragments, iron debris & dark soil, in area 120m across on site fronting main road. ?Emparked in PMed period. Finds:- 95 Med sherds including EMed coarseware & 7 sherds LMed glazed wares. Date range C12/C13 to C17/C18 (S1).
