Full Description

April 1988: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey, on field `699', located scatter ranging from C13/C14 to C17/C18, and dark soil in area 40m across. Finds include PMed pottery, a few brick fragments, tile fragments, glass vessel fragments and clay pipe fragments. ?Emparked in PMed period - see BOU 009 (S1).
Marked as `House wasted' on an estate map of 1813 (S2).
