April 1988: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey, on field `699', located 50m x 50m scatter of PMed tile & brick, no pottery. Possible agricultural building site? - no sign of buildings on Tithe map or 1927 OS 25 inch map (S1).
Marked as `Site of Gilbert's Farm House, Yards & Orchard' on an estate map of 1813 (S2).
