Full Description

October 1985: fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located thin Preh scatter, over 40m x 40m area, in "Field 128". Finds consisted of 2 sherds flint gritted (? Iron Age) pottery, 18 flint flakes and thin scatter of burnt flints (S1).

Further Prehistoric flint scatters within 500m, see CLO 004, 033, 034 and 036.

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on context (S2).
