Full Description
1978-1979: Fieldwalking survey by Myrtle Taylor located pottery scatters on "Field IV" (Homestall). Two scatters, A & B - see TMW 007 for B. Finds from A & B not separated on site report but A described as "main area of finds". Field to N under pasture. All finds may be from either TMW 007 or 008 but in view of 008 being this "main area", they are listed under TMW 008. ?Sax finds listed as 1 sherd burnished, black exterior, buff core, quartzite gritted, probably hand-made/slow wheel - ?MSax; 1 grogged sherd, wheel made - ?LSax; and 1 St Neots type rim. (S1) Also records "considerable amount of oyster & bone is found on this field" (S1)(S2).
