Full Description
1988/1989: Fieldwalked as part of SE Suffolk Survey in 1997. Scatter of flints including 3 scrapers and 20 flakes found. Also Roman and medieval pottery sherds, (S3).
1989/1990: Thin scatter of metalwork across the field, probably related to concentration MRM 032, further finds in field to West (WLD 013). Coins Allectus, Diocletian, Colchester brooch and buckle fragment possibly late Roman (S1). Area also includes WLD 014, Middle Saxon strap end, (S1).
1992: Large scatter of coins found Oct 1992 (14 in total) over whole field. Also medieval bronze spur fragment and buckle, (S2).
Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S5).
