Full Description

Circa 1987: Scatter of Rom pottery, occasionally dense, consisting of grey ware & colour coated (no Samian) and bones (? animal or human), found by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Also few C4 Rom coins found metal detecting by American serviceman SW of trench - see map (S1). Part of Rom scatter around Caudle Head - also see ERL 9, 23, 24, LKH 30-32, 114 & 133.
