Full Description
Small scatter of finds, fairly concentrated. Coins, brooches and pottery found in metal detecting (not seen). Brooches also said to have been found here in 1930s. Dating said to span the Rom period (S1).
Possibly subsidiary of large site LKH 072 etc.
Also IA coins.
Bronze Aesica variant bronze brooch with silvered surface, laterally perforated bow and ribbed fantail foot, mid C1. Found at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Also a silver 1 1/2 siliqua of Julian II (AD 360-363), Trier mint. Found at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Both metal detector finds (S2).
Area stated to be only 10-15 yards across (S3)(S4), grid references cited above presumably slightly inaccurate, as circa 100m apart.
Also IA & Med.
