Full Description

20 Dec 1989: Fieldwalking, 5m transects over small area of sandy hillock, near N field entrance, thin crop - 90% visibility, located relatively dense pottery scatter of mainly EMed wares (S1). Finds consisted of 1/2 sherds Thetford type ware and 37 sherds EMed type ware (including 2 of Ipswich ware form, but thinner). Also 5 struck flints, 5 late Med sherds and 1 Preh flint gritted sherd.
