Full Description
Oak Cottage. Fragments of a small moated enclosure, of which only the W and N sides survive.
This was a copyhold tenement of the manor of Hitcham called Warrens. The lands of this tenement were amalgamated with those of Brakes tenement (Ennals Farm - see HTC 032) by the beginning of the C17 and Warrens seems to have become a cottage (S1).
