Full Description

Gold quarter stater, fairly worn and slightly bent, found with a metal detector (S1). Gallo-Belgic A, obv: head of Apollo to right; rev: horse to right with linear mane, cross in front, rosette below, double pellets and ? above. Very similar to Mack no. 2/Van Arsdell 17-1 Ambiani type, circa 125- 100 BC. Diameter 15mm, weight 1.8001gm.
