Full Description

1990: Lead bulla found with a metal detector (S1). Inscribed BONIFATIUS PP (numeral broken away), probably Pope Boniface VIII, 1294-1303. Findspot is close to Ixworth Priory (IXW 012). Formerly recorded as IXW Misc. Also shell filled sherd, not St Neots, probably Med (S2).
