Full Description
1989: In garden of Stour House an area of 144 square metres was excavated by SAU prior to redevelopment.
Various pits of Early, Late & PMed date. A property boundary was also found across the site parallel to Gregory Street and to the series of IA ditches. In EMed period this was in the form of a small slot that would have held a wooden fence and by the C14 or C15 this was replaced by a flint & mortar wall (S1).
