Full Description
Bifacially, relatively crudely worked pale grey/brown to dark grey flint `chisel'. Complete, thin, 14cms long, 2.5cms maximum diameter, 1.8cms maximum thickness. Narrow blade end, 1cm diameter. Found in old scree from edge of one of two Newport's pits at Pakenham at least 20 years ago (circa 1960-1970?). Location of pit given by finder suggests either PKM 028 or 014 (S1). Finder's name not stated.
