Full Description
Coins, mainly Valentinian, found in S part of field by metal detecting. Grey ware pottery mainly fragmentary and abraded, found fieldwalking along with IA pottery (S1).
1989: head of Colchester derivative double pierced lug type brooch and silver wash Antoninianus of Gallienus (AD 260-268)(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S1).
Originally Bardwell parish but, since parish boundary changes, now in Stanton.
