Full Description

February 1988: fieldwalking survey located scatter of circa 11 hand-made sherds (IA & ESax).
February 1990: fieldwalking survey located further 6 hand-made sherds of IA & ESax date.
Site just above small stream feeding into Shottisham Creek. Heavily plough damaged, much crag turned up, also bone fragments. To S is large area of dark soil - ?infilled pit (S1).
Also note worked & burnt flint - see Preh. Also Rom, Sax & Med.
