Full Description
February 1988: At least 25 sherds Rom pottery found during intensive fieldwalking survey.
February 1990: At least further 23 sherds plus 3 sherds ?Rom tile found. Site just above small stream feeding into Shottisham Creek. Heavily plough damaged, much crag turned up, also bone fragments. To S is large area of dark soil - ?infilled pit (S1).
?Extension of Rom scatter, STT 015. Note lead disc weights listed under Sax. Also Preh, IA & Med.
