Full Description

Human bones found in digging water supply trench to school swimming pool (precise location not given, grid reference is to pool); area extended to 36 inches by 60 inches and excavated by D Compton and pupils of the school (S3). Drawings of site lost, press photograph possibly shows crouched inhumation rather than extended (but may be disturbance?)(S1). Bones examined and reported as male, approximately 30-40 years old and 5ft 9in tall (S2).
