Full Description
1985/1986: Small concentration of Rom pottery & roofing tile found during field survey along E-W ridge in centre of field 30 and in NW corner. Listed finds consist of 2 kg pottery, including Samian, Nene Valley, Shell-gritted & red and black coarse wares and 1 kg roofing tile (tegulae & imbraces)(S1). Also thin scatter of worked flint (?Neo/BA) over whole field surface which increases in density in fields to W.
