Full Description
Site of Guildhall. 1577 fieldbook reads " 70b Walsham Towne. Certeyne men of Walsham as Feoffes of trust to thuse of the same towne do hold by free deed amonge other landes in the same towne one close of pasture ground lienge neare vnto the last sayd close and a house with a back-house therevppon buylded at the southwest parte of the same close and the same close is called Master Johns and the house the Guyld Hall and lieth betwene the lyttell leadynge lane..... and conteyneth vij acres xij perches" (S1). 1990: Survives as ditched enclosure in meadow (S2).
