Full Description
In 1894-5 a new workhouse was built on this site (S1). Presumed to be a larger replacement of the old Workhouse at The Churchyard (see MNL 1199). Various out buildings to main workhouse shown on 1880 OS map, including an `infirmary' to N at TL 717 749 (S2). All buildings have been demolished.
