Full Description

Pottery scatter - small sherds of mainly C13/C14 coarseware found in disturbed soil of gas pipeline trench (not seen open). Mainly at roadside end of trench with Rom to SE (S1). Narrow strap end and square double buckle found metal detecting, also a groat of Edward (I or II?)(S2). Further metalwork - short cross cut halfpenny, bronze belt mount (S2). Also Rom.
