Full Description

Former Quakers Friends Meeting House, later used as Methodist Church (in ? C19). `Thought to have been in use as a meeting house by the end of the year 1678' (S1)(S2). `Earliest headstone in the graveyard is dated 1698.... In 1759 a brick wall, 6 feet high was built around the graveyard to keep the cattle out, the village common commenced nearby ... Nearby were the village stocks' (S2).
