Full Description
Area N of S precinct wall, W of `The Crancles' (BSE 062), E of the `Great Churchyard' and S of (?) St Andrews Chapel site, defined as site of `Cemetery of the Monks' on OS 25 inch map (S1).
February 1991: 2 small trial excavations in rear garden of Archaeological Unit to determine depth and nature of deposits at circa TL 85827 64064 and TL 85817 64070.
