Full Description
`Approximate location of "Old Moat" shown on 1769 map in field of that name. Nothing visible at ground level' (S1)(location given as TL 925 736). Location replotted with reference to the map, which shows a pond-like feature in one corner of the field, possibly one arm of a moat. Field name is `Old Moat' (S2). Name `Moat Barn' and ?building(s) shown in this area on OS 1st edition map of 1837.
