Full Description

1986: Scatter of Roman metalwork found metal detecting by. Finds listed as complete Colchester derivative brooch; damaged and incomplete bow brooch with two hatched bands along bow; damaged and incomplete Aucissa type brooch (1st century); 1 base sherd Samian; 1 rim of flanged Oxford mortarium with colour coat abraded off; 1 rim and 3 body sherds grey ware and 1 fragment of box tile (S1). Also 2 Post Medieval sherds and Miscellaneous Post Medieval metalwork (S1, S2).
