Full Description
Very deep ice-house, circa 30 feet with `folly' known as the Temple or Banqueting House on top (S1). The Temple was designed by Kent and dated 1746. It was intended for a banqueting-hall, but sited in a different location to his original plan. Detailed description of the Temple in (S2).
