Full Description
Great Fen Mill. Drainage pumping mill. Large smock mill, built in the mid C19 by Hunt of Soham. It worked until the Great War and was pulled down in the late 1940s. The lower parts of the base remain, used as a rubbish dump. There were four common sails, a boat shaped cap and tailpole, and a scoop wheel (S1).
