Full Description
Report by retired digger/grader driver to Alan Almer of former removal/ grading of topsoil `from field to rear of Stow Club' (Stow Club at TL 8147 7078). He reported revealing large dark oval/rectangular areas with smaller circular features at ends in sand subsoil - description apparently perfect for sunken featured buildings with end post holes (S1). Same as site WSW 006 note ESax & LSax pottery found - see Sax.
Also Mes, IA, Sax & Med.
