Full Description
Scatter of Rom pottery, circa 200m x 50m, found fieldwalking by John Newman, following woodland clearance by FC. Finds listed as 16 rims, 5 bases and 95 body sherds, mainly greyware but including 1 very abraded Samian? sherd, 1 ? colour coated sherd and 1 mortaria sherd. Also 3 tile/brick fragments and 1 Fe object - spike with hooked end. Also 1 flint flake (S1).
