Full Description

February 1991: fieldwalking assessment prior to insertion of water pipeline located relatively continuous scatter of Mes & Neo(?) worked flint from TL 7687 7133 merging into Mes scatter, CAM 011 at TL 7655 7074. Crosses line of Black Ditches (CAM 001) and Neo(?) flint scatter, CAM 022. Mes finds mostly patinated. Unpatinated, ?Neo flints listed as 72 flakes, 4 cores, 4 scrapers, 5 blades, one awl/spokeshave and some burnt flints (S1 & S2) Also 1 sherd Thetford ware - see Sax.
